For Romance I OLD collected valuable placings in Grand Prix dressage competitions under Therese Nilshagen/SWE. For this, the champion stallion, main premium winner, Bundeschampionat qualifier and Burg Cup finalist was named VTV Dressage Stallion of the Year 2019.
The sire Fürst Romancier, fourth at the 2009 World Championships for Young Dressage Horses and the Bundeschampionat (5-year-olds), produced 35 licensed sons.
In addition to For Romance I OLD, the dam El.St. Gesina produced nine other stallion sons, including the full brother and internationally placed For Romance II, the Champion Stallions Feinrich and Viva Romance PS, the State Championship third-placed Don Romance PS OLD (by Dante Weltino OLD) and the Burg Pokal fifth-placed Golden Romance Malleret PS.
She also produced two Oldenburg champion mares: the For Romance full sister Fasine OLD (Bundeschampioness, P.S.I. auction price record holder and successful up to Inter II) and Fürstin Gesine. Both also became stallion dams.
The granddam Gesine produced the Mecklenburg reserve winner Vivaldi's Schufro, the also licensed Amadeus de l'Aubois and the mare Sadira de Malleret, who became the dam of Helen Langehanenberg's Inter I winner Zaeta de Malleret.
Mare line of the famous Voltaire.
"Incomparable beauty of type, outstanding movement standards and pure willingness to perform - For Romance I OLD passes on his qualities in a truly resounding manner."
Therese Nilshagen, head rider of the DLZ
