Paris/FRA: Couleur Rubin son third in the Grand Prix
Another top placing for Max Kühner/AUT and EIC Julius Caesar.
The son of our legendary sire Couleur Rubin, EIC Julius Caesar (breeder: Spexgoor Stables), and Max Kühner/AUT proved once again in Paris that they are among the greats on the international stage and jumped to third place in the Grand Prix Hermès, a CSI5* show jumping competition over 1.60 meters, after a sensational, penalty-free round in the jump-off, thus securing one of the coveted podium places. The Grand Prix of Paris, with prize money totaling 400,000 euros, had a strong international field of 50 starters, nine of whom reached the jump-off. The top duo Max Kühner and EIC Julius Caesar had already impressed in mid-February with an outstanding performance and the resulting fifth place in the Longines Grand Prix of Hong Kong/HKG.
