Vechta: Thank you, Dante!

Our elite stallion Dante Weltino OLD was celebrated one last time by the audience at his farewell.

It was the festive conclusion of the Oldenburg Stallion Gala. After a long and very successful sporting career, Dante Weltino OLD is taking his well-deserved retirement. He competed in eight international championships for Sweden with his rider Therese Nilshagen, and now it is time to pass on his exceptional quality of movement and willingness to perform to his offspring. His breeder Olaf Bahls was also present in Vechta to accept his award. Therese Nilshagen celebrated her Dante once again in the hall in Vechta and then found fitting words for this special horse and their journey together. The two of them were a couple for 13 years, and it is with gratitude and pride that we now bid Dante farewell into retirement and are delighted that he will be available to our breeders again this year for fresh semen use.
